Dogs and other animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up with dogs and I have always had dogs (usually more than one at a time) except for a period during late 80-ies - early 90-ies. During 70-ies and 80-ies I had dalmatians, rottweiler and airedaleterrier. In the 90-ies the choice fell on poodles and whippets. We also had an italian greyhound for a short time - he was unfortunatly killed in an accident. Our first Chihuahua came to us in 2004, the same year my daughter turned 18 and joined as a co-owner of the kennel.
I had a dalmatianlitter in mid 70-ies but it wasn't until 2001 my work as a breeder really started. The breeding has mainly concerned poodles but we have also had a few chihuahualitters and a whippetlitter. For the moment we only breed poodles.
I "discovered" the American Hairless Terrier around 2003/2004 but at that time the breed wasn't represented in Sweden - and we had too many dogs to even think about it! Now most of our older dogs are gone and our poodle broodbitches lives with co-owners. In december 2008 we were lucky to get a AHT-girl - Tula! Just in time - after all these years with dogs I have devloped an allergi and can no longer choose any breed - but the AHT is very allergy-friendly and I have no problems with her!
I have been engaged in clubactivities in periods. During 70-ies and 80-ies I was secretary in the Swedish Dalmatianclub and also editor of the club magazine. In 2006 and 2008 I worked with health- and breedingpolicy issues for the Swedish Chihuahuaclub.
